Troubleshooting Tips 101

My hearing aid sounds weak: 

At home checks: -Clean the hearing aid (microphone covers)

                            -Replace wax filter (if applicable)

When to come in: If the above steps didn’t fix the problem. 

My hearing aid has no sound: 

At home checks: -Make sure the hearing aid has a new battery or is fully charged

                           -Clean the parts that are inserted into the ear 

                           -Replace wax filter

When to come in: If the above steps didn’t fix the problem. 

My hearing aid will not charge: 

At home checks: -Take the aid out and re-insert it into the charger

                            -Check if the charging port is clean and remove any debris

                            -Try charging the hearing aid on the other side

                            -Plug into a different outlet

When to come in: If the above steps didn’t fix the problem. 

My hearing aid won’t pair to my phone:

At home checks: -Make sure bluetooth is turned on from your smartphone.

                            -Make sure both hearing aids have new batteries or are fully charged. 

                            -Make sure the smartphone is up to date in the latest software version. 

When to come in: If the above steps didn’t fix the problem or you need assistance.
