Our Providers

Professional Hearing Center offers many diagnostic and treatment services.  We are proud to serve the Kansas City metro area for all their audiology needs.

Kelly Spiller, AuD, CCC/A, FAAA​

Kelly Spiller AuDDr. Kelly Spiller has been an Audiologist for over 13 years.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Central Missouri State University.

​Dr. Spiller is an ASHA-certified Doctor of Audiology and works in many different areas of the profession.  She was the founder of Professional Hearing Center in 2008 and merged the clinic into ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City in July of 2015 and became President of the new organization.  In February 2016 she founded a non-profit company – Lend An Ear Foundation. In addition to running the practice she works with ENT physicians and Physical Therapists involved in Vestibular and Balance Disorders.

Dr. Spiller will evaluate each patient and recommend appropriate treatment options such as hearing aids, medical referral or hearing protection​.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 3 beautiful daughters and has recently taken on the rewarding challenge of being a foster parent to children in need of a safe and loving home.

Kimberly J. Bramlett, AuD, CCC/A, FAAA​

Kimberly Bramlett AuDKimberly Bramlett joined ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City in 2003.  Kim’s Audiology and hearing aid experience includes hospital, ENT clinic and educational settings, serving patients of all ages.  She obtained her master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Kansas in 2003.  Kim has received her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology and is a licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser in Missouri and Kansas.  Kim is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Kansas City Society of Audiology. She received her Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) in 2008.

Sara Gabriel, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Sara Gabriel AuDSara joined ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City in 2013. Her audiology and hearing aid experience includes PRN audiology, VA, pediatric and ENT clinic. Sara received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Kansas.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Sara believes that by helping patients understand their hearing loss and their hearing aid technology, she is empowering them to take control of their ability to communicate again. “One of the hardest parts of my job is watching people struggle because of their inability to communicate. Sometimes it’s not being able to communicate with friends and family members; sometimes patients are struggling to communicate with doctors or caregivers. I believe that by educating my patients and spending the time they need, I can help them focus less on their hearing aids and more on hearing what they want to hear again.”

Anna Grasshoff, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Anna Ford AuDAnna Grasshoff joined ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City in 2014. She received her Doctorate of Audiology from Louisiana Tech University. Her audiology and hearing aid experience includes working with pediatric and adult patients at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Anna is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a member of the Kansas City Society of Audiology. Anna believes that a person's quality of life is greatly affected by their ability to hear and communicate. As an audiologist, she is able to help bring sound back to a person who has been without for so long.

Danielle Barton, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Danielle Henry AuD

Dr. Danielle Barton joined Professional Hearing Center in November of 2015. She received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Communication Disorders, with a minor in Disability Studies in 2011 from Truman State University and a Doctorate of Audiology from Northwestern University in 2015. Dr. Barton completed her residency at Ear Care & Skull Base Surgery in Chesterfield, MO.

Dr. Barton is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Born and raised in the St. Louis area, Dr. Barton has enjoyed this new transition to the Kansas City area, but still cheers on the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals from afar!

Jessica Dwyer, MA, CCC-A

Jessica Dwyer MAJessica Dwyer, MA,CCC-A, has been a practicing audiologist since 2002. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Audiology from Wichita State University, home of the Shockers. She joined ENT of Greater Kansas City in July 2014. She is a fellow of the American Speech and Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology, and the Kansas City Society of Audiology.

Jessica provides services at the Belton location.  She performs diagnostic hearing tests for children to older adults. She dispenses hearing aids and notes it the most rewarding part of her job. Jessica notes, “My goal is to educate patients about their hearing loss, make appropriate recommendations to improve their hearing, enable them to communicate better with their families, and work with them to achieve the best hearing possible.”

Jessica is married and has 3 children.  She enjoys attending their sporting and school events.  She is ruling elder at her church and has served on sessions for mission and education action teams.

Hannah Prather, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Hanna Prather AuDDr. Prather joined our practice in the summer of 2016. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University and her Doctorate in Audiology from The University of Kansas Medical Center.  Her audiological experiences include working in VA hospitals, ENT clinics, and private practice offices that serve a wide variety of patients.  Hannah is passionate about educating individuals about their hearing loss and the solutions available to help improve hearing.  “Hearing loss doesn’t just affect the individual with the hearing loss. It affects family members, friends, co-workers, and other individuals. By teaching effective communication strategies to these individuals, their quality of life will vastly improve.”

Julie Bangert, AuD, CCC-A

Julie Bangert AuDDr. Julie Bangert joined Professional Hearing Center in 2016. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with minors in Psychology and Disability Studies from Truman State University in 2013 and a Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2017.

Her audiology and hearing aid experience includes private practice, ENT, cochlear implant, pediatric, and auditory processing services. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Bangert is very passionate about helping people communicate to the best of their abilities throughout their lifespan. Communication is such an essential part of our daily lives that is so easily taken for granted until that skill becomes compromised. Dr. Bangert finds great joy in helping people work to regain that critical skill.

Allison Peter, AuD, CCC-A

Allison Peter AuDDr. Allison Peter obtained her undergraduate degree at Kansas State University where she majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then obtained her Doctorate of Audiology through the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. Dr. Peter specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance impairments. She currently does a rotation through the Mid America Balance Institute, testing and treating patients with balance disorders.

Dr. Peter believes that educating the patient about their hearing and balance health care is the first step in empowering the patient to strive for a better quality of life when it comes to these specialties. She works along with the patient to come up with the healthcare plan to best suit each individual. Dr. Peter enjoys spending time with her friends and family and attending local sporting events around Kansas City!

Jen Schumacher, AuD

Jen Schumacher AuDDr. Jennifer Schumacher joined Professional Hearing Center in November of 2017, though she has been an Audiologist in Kansas City for over 25 years! She graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1992 with a Master’s degree in Audiology. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia. Dr. Schumacher sees all patients of all ages, and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance impairments.

When Dr. Schumacher isn’t helping patients, she is kept busy with sports and other activities for her four teenage children! She also enjoys working in the yard and working with her husband to renovate the old farmhouse that they live in! 


Erika Ward, AuD, FAAA

Erika Ward AuD

Dr. Erika Ward has been an Audiologist in the Kansas City area for over 14 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and her Master’s Degree in Audiology from The University of Kansas. She obtained her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University. Erika is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser in Missouri and Kansas and a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and helping them achieve the best hearing healthcare possible to improve their quality of life. Erika has 3 beautiful children that she enjoys spending time with outside of the office. 

Julie Otto, AuD, CCC-A

Julie Otto AuDDr. Julie Otto joined Professional Hearing Center as an Audiologist in May 2018 after completing her clinical residency with the practice. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Gerontology from Kansas State University and received her Doctor of Audiology degree from The University of Kansas. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.

Dr. Otto has served patients of all ages in a variety of settings. She has a special interest in tinnitus, hearing conservation, and the diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing loss. She loves working with new hearing aid technology and believes hearing and communicating with loved ones is an important contributor to quality of life.

She was born and raised in the Kansas City area and enjoys spending time cooking, painting, and cheering on the K-State Wildcats!


Lynsey Ralston, BS

Lynsey RalstonLynsey Ralston is an audiology doctoral student at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She joined Professional Hearing Center in May 2018 for her audiology residency. She completed her Bachelor's of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University. She has served patients of all ages, pediatric to adult and also has been impacted by hearing loss herself. Her clinical experience includes University, pediatric, private practice, ENT and VA settings. Lynsey's care for others is reflected through her compassion for adults and children impacted by hearing loss. Through her personal experience with hearing loss and evidence-based clinical experience in audiology, she aims to provide the best quality of life to her patients. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys visiting local restaurants in the Kansas City area, kickboxing, and spending time with her family.


Rachel Murphy

Rachel MurphyRachel is a 4th year Doctor of Audiology student from the University of Kansas Medical Center, completing her residency with Professional Hearing Center. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Illinois University. She has served patients across the lifespan, from newborn into adulthood. Her clinical experience includes University, pediatric, private practice, hospital and ENT settings. Rachel believes in a patient-centered approach in order to meet all of her patients’ unique communication needs. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys attending musical concerts and local sporting events, engaging in outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family.


Karen Rebecchi Harmon, MA, CCC-A

Karen Harmon MAKaren has been a Clinical Audiologist in the Kansas City area since 2004.  She was responsible for the Newborn Hearing Screen Program for 3 local hospitals for over 5 years. She has 4+ years experience fitting and dispensing hearing aids for local Otolaryngology and hearing aid practices. She is passionate about early intervention, hearing conservation and aural rehabilitative counseling.  She believes her clients are her patients, not just customers, and believes in a team approach to successful hearing aid fitting, programming and use.
